Introducing Little Victory Productions
Little Victory Productions was established in 2022 for the purpose providing a place to promote new independent screenplays and films. Named for our first work-in-progress, a tv pilot for a limited series entitled Little Victory, now in pre-production, it led to our maiden voyage in film production. Filming on Dissonant was completed in August 2023 and is now in post-production.
Kevin Murray has spent his entire adult life as a storyteller. Working in theater, film, and television, as an actor, manager, director, and casting director, he has participated in scores of productions and play development for live theater, as well as leadership positions in higher education.
Kevin spent 30+ years at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA as Professor, Administrator, and Program Manager, while pursuing acting roles in film and tv. He retired from Mason as Interim Director of the School of Theater in 2021, at which time he started screenwriting and founded Little Victory Productions. A member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity Association for more than 40 years, he continues to act professionally, and now adds independent film production to his resume.
Mary Lechter is a performer, arts educator, and director. She is the Founder/Artistic Director of Acting for Young People (AFYP) and Executive Director of Mason Community Arts Academy. A longtime member of the Performance Faculty in George Mason University’s School of Theater, she was named a “Teacher of Distinction,” and was a TEDxGeorgeMasonU speaker.
A proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity Association, Mary has worked professionally as an actor on stage, screen and radio in the Metropolitan Washington area, Los Angeles, and New York.
